Thursday Thirteen - Things That Calm Me


Thirteen Things that help Wendy feel calm when she's stressed:


1. A hot bath and a good book
2. Singing happy songs
3. Taking deep, slow breaths
4. Chanting a favorite mantra (usually the Gayatri)
5. Reflexology, or just a good foot rub
6. Getting a massage
7. Crying it out
8. A cup of hot tea or cocoa
9. Hugging my son
10. Listening to soothing music
11. Relaxing scents (like lavender)
12. Walking barefoot in the grass
13. Watching the sunset or gazing up into a starry sky
