Major Declutter

I’m working on this goal, steadily. This morning, the Cerebral Palsy foundation took away loads of stuff that I decided I no longer need – including a lot of great stuff, like golf clubs and a pasta machine and some cool kid’s furniture, puzzles and games, craft supplies. Loads of good stuff, but since I haven’t been using it, I decided it was time to let it go to someone else who would.

The storage box thingy was pretty handy, when C was younger. (Now he has those big "bin in shelving units" things, which are even better). I would have sent it to you, only . . . postage. :D

It feels REALLY good. And inspires me to try and find even more stuff that I can part with before moving to Arizona. :)

I HAVE that storage unit thingy! It's full of all the toys the kids never play with and yet just can't bear to part with.

Hooray for decluttering!

Oh man, I LUST after those tipped-bins-on-shelves thingies. It's a good thing I didn't know you were getting rid of one, or we'd have begged for it. And the CP Foundation needs it and we need less clutter.

Heh. Well, after they took it away this morning, I thought, "OH CRAP! I hope that A&J wouldn't have wanted that for Mookeleh!" And then I remembered that you were saying space was tight (although you did find room for the nifty bookshelf, which really, is a MUCH cooler piece of furniture). But, D'OH, I should have asked if you wanted it.

Still . . . yeah, I was just trying to help you in the battle against clutter. Yeah, that's it! :P

I like that storage thing also, but
I'm most tickled that you chose the CP folks as your charity of choice, seeing as how my son has CP. Good call! :)

Decluttering rocks. It's something I do constantly, especially as we have so many charity shops around.

Good for you!

I was thinking of forgoing a spring break trip and just staying home to re organize this house. It's become a huge disaster!

We have that same organizing shelf, sitting in a corner full of odds and ends that no one plays with or uses. Time to go!

Woo-hoo for decluttering. You're inspiring me!

Good for you! I need to do some of this myself.
