Day 21: Electricity!

Day 21: Electricity!, originally uploaded by Here Be Dragons.

Shot for both Project 365, and for today's Photo Friday challenge, which is "Electricity." I really wanted to build a small Tesla coil, so I could do some Kirlian photography, but that was a bigger DIY project than I felt like tackling today. I might do it one day soon, though. The results can be gorgeous. For today, though, we decided to play with static electricity. This definitely fulfills the challenge! :)

Wow, that boy sure resembles you.

I have a picture of Misty from today with static hair. Maybe check my blog later this weekend. :D

You know, I don't usually see that . . . but now that you mention it, he really does look like me in that photo. Cool. :)

I was totally going to say the same thing! And boy, has he grown since I last saw him. Which was admittedly quite a while ago. :)

One day a thousand years from now alien anthropologists will find a printout of this picture and say, "They were a strange but joyful people."

He continues to exhibit dangerous levels of cuteness.

Hee! There's another one I took today where the ball is held to the side of his head. That one looks even more . . . strange (and possibly joyful). :D

I do wish he'd smiled a bit more nicely. This was the best of the lot - in most of the others he had a grimace that was anything but joyful.

:D

Here it is . . .

More Static

I almost like this one better, except for the traces of grape popsicle on his cheeks. (Why don't I notice things like that BEFORE I take the pictures)?
