Project 365, Day 145 - Spider Web

Day 145 - Spider Web, originally uploaded by Here Be Dragons.

Connor and I went out to the car one morning to find this amazing spider web in the wooded area next to where we park our car. Our eight-legged friends make beautiful "artwork," don't they?

Woah! That is a gorgeous web! Is it the light, or is the thread on that strong? It looks very thick.

It's just the light - that's what I loved about this when I took the photos (I only wish I'd had my "good" camera with me at the time; I probably could have gotten better photos) . . . the sun was behind the web, and illuminated it like that. Later in the day, when the sun was on the other side, you could hardly see the web at all - it became invisible without the light. :)

Thanks! :) And yeah, the light was amazing. It was interesting - when we came home later, the web was still there, but unless you knew were to look, you'd never see it. From being so bright and shiny, to being practically invisible. I did get lucky with the light that morning! (I wish that happened more often). :D
